Catherine has lived in Kansas for 21 years. She received her B.S.N. from Vanderbilt University and has been privileged to have many wonderful nursing jobs over the past 24 years. Her medical background includes clinical oncology, nursing education, home care, family practice and most recently triaging for a large medical practice in Westwood, Kansas.

One of her favorite jobs was “non-nursing” when she worked at St. Peter’s Catholic School as a lunch room monitor where she quickly fell in love with being with young people. She is so looking forward to working with students and parents in a school environment again.

Catherine and husband Mark have three children, ages 9, 15 and 18. Next fall, daughter Alli will be a freshman at Regis University in Denver; son Aidan a junior at Miege; and the youngest, Avery, will be in 4th grade at St. Peter’s. Her hobbies include family activities, watching sporting events and volunteering for the Kansas City School district and the Parish Council at church.

She looks forward to meeting everyone and serving as your school nurse.
