Educational Background: 
B.S.B. in Business Administration (University of Kansas); B.S.B. Financial Accounting (University of Kansas). Graduate of Leadership Lawrence Community Action Program

Mr. Pennington has provided accounting services in the non-profit sector for over 15 years, the last six of those in a private school setting.  He has implemented systems and practices that have saved time and money in these institutions and led efforts to upgrade and equalize teacher compensation.  Daniel also oversees many other aspects of school operation, including Building/Maintenance and Food Service operations. 

Daniel volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County as a Big Brother  and the Lawrence Barn Dance Association as a board member.  He enjoys playing flat pick guitar, home remodeling, and spending time with his dog, Durby.  He and his wife Jane live at the epicenter of college basketball, Lawrence, Kansas.
