B. A. in Elementary Education (Southern Methodist University); M. Ed. in Educational Administration (Southwest Texas State University)

 

St. Paul's is the fourth Episcopal school that Ms. Barnes has led, from Waco, TX to Dallas, TX to Phoenix, AZ to Kansas City, MO.  She is in her eighth year at St. Paul's, having begun in July of 2004.  Liz taught in public schools in Texas and in England with the Department of Defense Overseas Schools, started a Gifted and Talented Program in a public school district, and was a Lower School Division Head in an independent school.  Ms. Barnes has been a member of and led accrediting teams for three independent school accrediting organizations and served on the board of the National Association of Episcopal Schools.

Outside of work, Liz is an avid tennis player, reader, walker, writer, and knitter.
