BA in Elementary Education (Southwestern College)

 

 

Mrs. House graduated from Southwestern College with a B.A. in elementary education. She has taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and pre-school in the states of Tennessee, Texas, Kansas, and Illinois.She chose St. Paul's as a parent for her daughter and son.

She began substituting at St. Paul's in 1994, and then became an associate teacher before her current position as a full time lead teacher.

Kindergarten is her passion.Everyday she is privileged to work with children who are curious, love facts, and have a desire to learn. It is her goal to help children make successful choices and create positive attitudes, and to be respectful, responsible, and have integrity.

She likes to try new things in the classroom, attends many conferences, and she is inspired by her co-teachers' ideas and knowledge.Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, playing cards, crafts, dining out, and reading.
