Kathy Lawrence joined the St. Paul's faculty in 2003 as a Preschool Associate and Middle School Spanish Teacher. In 2004, she was promoted to Toddler Teacher, where she remains today. Kathy has continued to teach Spanish in the A-Team afternoon program, and has taught a total immersion Spanish Summer camp for 4 to 6 year olds.

Kathy selected St. Paul's as her daughter's school when her family moved to Kansas City in 1996. Kathy, who had left her job as a retail executive and corporate trainer, became an enthusiastic and frequent classroom volunteer. That led to substitute teaching and a new-found love of teaching children.

Kathy has attended numerous professional development programs and conferences and has had training in Brain Based Learning, TPR Spanish, Project Construct and Montessori.

Kathy is married and has a son and a daughter.
