Mrs. Hansen began her teaching career at St. Paul's Episcopal Day School in 2003. Teaching at St. Paul's has been an exceptional experience in both her educational and personal life. She has built many lifelong friendships with colleagues and families at St. Paul's. Mrs. Hansen's teaching experience at St. Paul's includes both early childhood and primary grades and she is currently a kindergarten teacher. Her BA in elementary education degree was obtained from the University of Tulsa and she went on to receive an MA in teaching with an emphasis in Early Childhood. She has a passion for teaching young children and hopes to be a positive influence in their lives. As a kindergarten teacher, she finds true joy in her students' desire to learn and she admires how younger children make learning so fun.

When Mrs. Hansen is not teaching children, she is spending time with her husband, Erik, and their two children, Ethan and Isabella. They love to spend time outdoors, playing with their dog Zoe and traveling to see family and friends. She also spends a lot of time cooking with her kids and loves taking pictures to capture their precious moments.
