Kelly has wanted to be a teacher ever since she was in elementary school.  She has been teaching since 2004.  Kelly joined the faculty at St. Paul’s in the fall of 2010 as a fourth grade teacher.  She attended the ISACS “New Teacher Institute” in August of 2010.

Kelly especially loves teaching science and reading to her students.  She takes pride in teaching her students about taking care of the environment, rocks and minerals, and conservation.  Kelly values the importance of differentiation in the classroom and seeks to find alternative ways to teach her students in engaging ways.  Above all, Kelly enjoys sharing some of her favorite books from childhood with her students and reading them together in class.  In her free time, Kelly enjoys camping, hiking, crossword puzzles, reading, yoga, and renovating her old house with her husband.
