Students in St. Paul's Episcopal Church

Religious and Character Development

Every morning our school gathers in the name of Christ for a brief opening worship. St. Paul's is an Episcopal Day School that is grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition. In daily worship, we celebrate God's love for us as a defining principle that ideally informs the choices we make during our day. Life skills are named and practiced. In this way, we seek to integrate the intellectual and spiritual in each student.

We are proud of the religious diversity represented in our school. We aspire to be respectful of religious differences, and to learn more about other faiths. Additionally through our Middle School curriculum, we hope to learn more about our Old Testament and New Testament roots, as well as begin the process of academic inquiry regarding faith.

Students are encouraged to contribute time to our various service opportunities and to find other ways that they can give of their time and talents in service to the community. Two major thrusts at our school involve our support of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church food pantry and raising funds for our sister school in Haiti. In these ways, we seek to engage the connection between one's faith and one's actions.
