Carpool Information
CARPOOL A (BLUE) -100 - 200 - 300
Enter parking lot on Main Street. Proceed around the parking lot as the map shows (Blue line). Have your carpool number displayed clearly on your window. Pull up as far as the STOP sign and remain in your car. Teachers on duty will bring the students to your car.
CARPOOL B (RED) - 400 - 500
Cars travel south on Walnut and load students from the sidewalk on Walnut St.
This traffic plan is designed with the safety of the children and efficient movement of cars in mind. Your laminated number will be mailed to you and must be displayed in the window of your car.
For Safety Reasons:
1. Please pick up students only through the carpool line.
2. Please do not use cell phones when the carpool line starts.
3. Carpool changes must be notified to the homeroom teacher or the front desk as soon as possible.
4. Students may not re-enter the building without a faculty member.
Children are dismissed from classes at 3:28 p.m. Carpool lines are usually the longest right at this time. By delaying your arrival in line to 3:40, your wait to load could be shortened significantly. At 3:45, students who have not been picked up will be escorted to after school care.
Carpool time is usually a bit confusing the first week of school. Please be patient, allow a little extra time, and be assured that by the second week all will be running smoothly.
