We're so proud of Elie R. (3rd grade). Her story, "The Pancake King", was a winner in the Young Writers' Contest, sponsored by the Reading Reptile and the Kansas City Public Library. Here's our young writer, pictured with an author's illustration she received for her book. Wonderful work!
Lots of research and hard work went into the 5th grade Presidents Celebration. Each student created an informational tri-fold and gave a speech on their president. The event drew lots of visitors and kicked off the holiday weekend.
Our 1st graders wowed with their beloved "Hooray for the USA" program. Each student represented a famous American, and the costumes and performances were fantastic. Hooray for the 1st grade!
