St. Paul's is a member of the Metropolitan Private School League. Other members include: Pembroke Hill, Barstow, Kansas City Christian, Maranatha Academy, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, Heritage Christian Academy, Open Door Christian, Oakhill Day School, Summit Christian Academy and Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS).
St. Paul's sports teams are divided evenly at the 5th and 6th grade level when a large number of participants come out for the sport. Team assignments are not based on skill levels and playing time is evenly distributed. Emphasis is put on fundamentals and skill development. Should there be enough players to form more than one team at each level, the teams will be labeled either Blue, Red and Green and they are evenly-balanced teams.
In the 7th and 8th grades, however, teams are formed by skill level. Players are placed on either the Gold Team (advanced skill level) or Blue/Red/Green Teams. There are no cuts. Our goal is to have a positive experience for all student-athletes involved.
