Jennifer Maughan

Graduation Year: 1989

High School and College: Bishop Miege/ Baker University.

Career: After careers as an EMT and 911 dispatcher, I'm back in school to get my nursing degree.

Favorite Book: The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

Favorite Charity: Susan G. Komen and Locks of Love. Every three years, I donate my hair to locks of love in memory of my mom.

Favorite St. Paul's Tradition: Reading Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl in the attic [of the Rawlins Building] and writing our names on beams. My dad worked at the school, and we received a call late on the night of the fire. Watching the fire, all I could think was that our signatures were gone.

How did St. Paul’s impact your life? I was a "Lifer" at St. Paul's, and it was a very tight community. I have lifelong friends from St. Paul's.

As a member of the St. Paul’s community, I pledge to be honest, to respect others, to take responsibility for my actions and words, to be kind and inclusive, and to help others do the same.
