St. Paul's Episcopal Day School Alumni Class of 2023

For more than 65 years, St. Paul's has sent graduates out in the world to be ethical leaders and compassionate, engaged citizens. 

St. Paul's alumni remain active contributors in our community and often return as special speakers, student mentors, and many even become St. Paul's parents as their families grow.

Alumni Spotlight

Elizabeth Lacy, St. Paul's Class of 2011
Elizabeth Lacy ' 11

Elizabeth is currently an Investigator at the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and she previously worked on human rights advocacy at the United Nations. She enjoys the very real impact she makes in people's lives every day. It can be challenging to talk to people in their time of crisis, but it is simultaneously rewarding work that taps into Elizabeth's passion for listening and helping others.

Sarah Bowman ' 01

Sarah graduate from Loyola University with degrees in Communications (2009) and Business/Marketing (2022). She's currently living in Los Angeles working as a Marketing Account Executive with Brains on Fire. In her free time, she enjoys competitive road cycling!

Alex and Matt Turley '99

Alex and Matt Turley met in middle school at St. Paul's and are now married with two kids! Both Alex and Matt attended Kansas State University. Matt is a Senior MEP Engineering Manager, and Alex works as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist. Both of their kiddos, Olive and Miles, are students at St. Paul's!

Whitney Hosty, St. Paul's Class of 1995
Whitney Hosty '95

Whitney is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor for the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation – an organization she has been with for nearly 20 years! Some key moments from Whitney's education included her time learning abroad in Paris and a pivotal college class that piqued her interest in non-profit management. Whitney is pictured here with her daughter, Lillian, a current St. Paul’s middle school student.

Samantha Gilchrist Mockaitis '99

Samantha Gilchrist Mockaitis works in robotics and neuromodulation as Medtronic’s Director of Business Development Innovation. She's even helped develop a new robot to perform general surgeries like appendectomies. Throughout her career, she’s been able to travel to many interesting places around the world. Prague was her favorite city to visit!

Allie Dillingham, St. Paul's Class of 2014
Allie Dillingham '14

Allie is unique in that she knew from middle school onward what profession she wanted to pursue – nursing. She shared how she discovered her goal of “spreading God’s love and grace” to others, and nursing was a clear fit!  Allie now works at Children’s Mercy Hospital as a pediatric float nurse who works in all units. Even though she works difficult night shift hours at the moment, she likes the variability of her day-to-day and gets to see a range of pediatric treatments.

Ridge Rees, St. Paul's Class of 1998
Ridge Rees ' 98

After graduating from St. Paul’s in 1998, Ridge attended Rockhurst High School and went on to study marketing and graduate from UMKC in 2006. Today, Ridge has a busy career in marketing, event management, and has even started a few of his own businesses. One of his career highlights was his time coordinating a Formula 1 event for 250,000 people in Austin, Texas. 

Chapel Speaker Program

Alumni are invited to share details about their education path, career choices, and their individual St. Paul's experience with current middle school students at daily chapel. This unique discussion provides opportunities for alumni to serve as inspiration and role models for current students as they get ready to make big decisions about their futures.
