Athletics
The St. Paul's Athletics department and Physical Education faculty teach positive lessons of perseverance, sportsmanship, respect for one’s opponent, and the ability to win and lose with grace. During fall, winter, and spring sports, we help students develop knowledge of the game, experience team unity, build a strong work ethic, and affirm their sense of pride.
Beginning in 5th grade, students can participate in the following sports and compete in the Crossroads League against other Kansas City independent and parochial schools.
Fall Sports:
- Boys Soccer
- Coed Cross Country
- Girls Volleyball
Winter Sports:
- Boys Basketball
- Girls Basketball
Spring Sports:
- Girls Soccer
Additional Sports Activities
Students can also join the following sports and outdoor activities clubs outside of league play including:
- Running Club (Spring)
- Coed Volleyball (Spring)
- Seasonal Basketball Training Camps (Fall, Spring & Summer)
Spirit Nights & Field Day
Our community never misses the chance to celebrate our Spartan athletes! During our fall and spring spirit nights, all St. Paul's families and students are invited to come cheer on our team during a league game. We also host our annual Field Day and school-wide picnic in late May every spring. It's a great chance for students in Pre-K and up to compete in friendly games, challenges, and obstacle courses. There's even a faculty/staff vs. 8th grade softball game to closeout the celebration!
