Extended Day programs are occasionally in session even when school is out! St. Paul's will often host basketball clinics with GABL for Kindergarten and up over Thanksgiving and spring break.

A group of St. Paul's 2nd grade students present their Lego Robotics concept.
Lego Robotics

During an after school club, Lego Robotics, 2nd and 3rd grade students created original designs for the Lego League regional competition. Students were challenged to re-think the world of arts by designing a concert stage with programmed lights and motorized components. After the competition, St. paujl’s students visited Lee’s Summit High School’s Team Driven to check out their robotics workshop and hear about their design and construction process.

Painting & Ceramics Classes

Art Teacher, Ms. Lynn, offers after school classes to help art-loving students extend their learning in painting, ceramics, stop motion animation, and more. These classes are perfect for students who are interested in developing their artistic skills. It’s also great for students who just want to dip their toe into the visual art world!

A group of St. Paul's students make enrichment treats for KC Pet Project.
MLK Jr. Day of Service

St. Paul’s Extended Day used MLK Jr. Day as inspiration to serve others in our community! Students created 100 sock kits for unhoused neighbors and made dozens of dog treats for KC Pet Project. Students also picked up litter on the streets surrounding our campus and organized shelvesat the St. Paul’s food pantry. We’re grateful to Dr. King for inspiring us to make the world a better place for everyone!

Holiday Gift Making

The popular Holiday Gift Making Class was a success. Students were able to make lots of fun and personalized gifts for their family and friends. Students made snowman gift bags, painted fun Santa window clings, decorated hot cocoa bombs, decorated a sweater for their elf on the shelf, and more!
