Katy holds a BFA with a concentration in painting and printmaking from KU and a MAT in interdisciplinary art education from Columbia College. Katy has extensive domestic and international teaching experience, most recently as an art teacher at St. Ann’s in Prairie Village.

When she's not teaching, you can find her on the golf course, doing yoga, or enjoying quality time at Shawnee Mission Dog Park with her adorable Australian Shepherd pup, Peanutbutter. Ms. Hoogendyk is enjoying exploring the local art museums near the St. Paul's campus and sharing her passion for art with our students.

Libby Huggins, 5th Grade Teacher

Libby Huggins
5th Grade Teacher

Ms. Libby Huggins has joined Ms. Nash as a 5th grade teacher for the 25-26 school year. Libby has a M.S. in Elementary Education from Rockhurst University and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from KU. Ms. Huggins worked as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at St. Paul's from 2016-2024, and she filled in seamlessly in various substitute roles throughout the 24-25 school year.

When not at school, Libby enjoys cooking delicious meals, reading, traveling, and exploring nature with her husband and two huskies, Penny and Clover. With her heart for community and her love of learning, we're lucky to have Ms. Huggins back at St. Paul's.

Will Sheffield, CFO at St. Paul's

Will Sheffield
CFO

Will is a KU graduate and a CPA with an extensive accounting and operational background; he most recently worked as the controller for a clinical research firm.   He has three boys (20/18/13) and loves them even though they refuse to show any interest in the greatness that was the 1986 New York Mets.  Along with his wife Nicole they do their best to live each day in a way that satisfies the constant attention seeking required by their two dogs.

For WIll, joining St. Paul’s was a no-brainer.  “The secret to life is making other people’s lives better” is something he has been telling his kids for 20 years.  Here at St. Paul’s he gets to see that everyday and it makes work a true joy.

Will enjoys blues and symphonic metal music, Dungeons & Dragons, and anything fantasy, including Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. We're lucky to have Will on the St. Paul's team!

Sally Urdang
Staff Accountant

Sally has over five years of accounting experience, and is working towards her Masters of Science in Accounting at UMKC Bloch School of Management.

Sally was overjoyed when St. Paul’s reached out about the Staff Accountant position. It is important to her to be a part of an organization that betters the community and sparks joy, and St. Paul’s checks all those boxes. It is an honor for her to be at St. Paul’s!

Sally lives in Waldo with her husband, Luke, and two cats, Ham and Cheese. In her free time, she enjoys riding bicycles, gardening with native plants and growing food! She is a Missouri Master Naturalist with the Missouri Department of Conservation and focuses her volunteer efforts on birding, bird awareness and habitat restoration for birds. Her goal for this school year is to lead a bird hike around the school’s campus!
