The St. Paul's Episcopal Day School's Parents' Guild held the annual auction, Derby Night: Raise for the Roses, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, and we were blown away by the tremendous support we received. Thanks to our generous community of parents, grandparents, and business sponsors, we raised more than $500,000 with $180,000 directed toward this year's Fund-a-Need project.
This year's Fund-a-Need initiative was focused on adding streetscaping and traffic calming measures to Walnut Street (this is the street that runs behind the school). This project will go a long way toward making the St. Paul's campus safer and better established in our broader community.
Suzanne Fox and Jamie Young, St. Paul's Parents' Guild Leaders
Our 2024 Auction, Derby Night: Raise for the Roses, was clearly a huge success. A very heartfelt thank you to Suzanne Fox and Jamie Young (Parents' Guild President-Elect and President) and their amazing team of volunteers. They worked tirelessly over the past year to ensure we could meet our goals and have a fun night. Mission accomplished.
Everything from the big hats, bowties, derby decor, and dueling pianos made this one auction that will live on in our school history. We are so proud of our school community and the support shown for both the Auction and Fund-a-Need. We cannot say thank you enough!
